MLA is accepting applications for the Future Pathways Grant program (formerly the Equity Fund Grant) through Monday, July 15. Future Pathways Grants are funded entirely through donations and aim to encourage the participation, engagement, and leadership of racially and ethnically diverse library workers in the library profession and MLA. Future Pathways Grants aim to empower underrepresented individuals in the library community by reducing financial barriers to career advancement. The grant supports the professional development of racially and ethnically diverse library workers, including Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, North African, and Middle Eastern individuals.
